OpenVPN on Android with Tasker

I got myself a pfsense firewall and dedicated access points for my home network. I might do a seperate post about all that, but for now, only one thing is important. I configured OpenVPN on it to allow me to connect to my home network while on the go. I immediately wanted my phone to automatically connect with OpenVPN. I am not going through the detail on how to configure OpenVPN Connect.

Birthday weekend

Birthday weekend This year was a special birthday. J took me to Whistler for my birthday. Four days away. We had a lot of fun. The hotel room had a private hot tub. It was necessary after all the walking we did. It was really nice. On the way to Whistler I learned a lesson. If Google Maps tries to constantly get you off the highway, then check your route options.

Goodbye Wordpress

Today is the day I deleted my old page. New beginnings. This means I now committed 100% to hugo. I have to say that I prefer the simplicity of it. That it is just static web pages. I also like that it is just plain files on my side. Makes it so much easier to move things around, find things and edit them. I don’t have to deal with a database or whatever limited things the software offers me.

I’ve been watching a few of those videos that talk about vim vs other editors for programming. I thought I throw my two cents in and explain, why I use vim. Not just for editing configuration files, but also programming and pretty much anything else. I even write this post with vim.
